| In the past two years, our focus here at Little-Big Sound has become less on being a "recording studio", and more on providing production services for our television and corporate clients. To that end, although this section discusses our residential based facilities, we do not as a rule hire these facilities out to outside producers, engineers, and bands. | |

Little-Big Sound is set up to
enhance the writing and tracking process. The studio uses the Pro-Tools compatible (via OMF)
Digital Performer sequencing/recording platform (currently at ver 4.1) with 2408MkII
& 1224 interfaces tied to a fully automated Yamaha 02r recording console. Plug-ins for DP include Vintage Warmer, Autotune, Garritan's Personal Orchestra, Kompact, Stormdrum, Plugsound Box, Virtual Guitarist, and many more. An additional Mac with four Samplecell cards is available for an entire extra library of proven sounds. An extensive collection of vintage microphones & tube pre-amplifiers, MIDI gear, and outboard equipment by top manufacturers including Focusrite, Lexicon, Roland, and Yamaha is available for project use.  AUDIO FOR VIDEO -LBS also provides extensive services for the "audio for video, film & digital media" markets. Our systems lock seamlessly to video and all formats of SMPTE timecode. We can score your commercial, and put the efx in your next budget release! REMOTE RECORDING - A complete hard disc recording system utilizing Digital Performer and firewire-based intrafaces is available for remote recording adventures whether you are recording a conference or concert. events, business launches and announcements, and location shooting/recording for

Mastering & Graphic Design are some
of the last steps a recording project takes prior to manufacture. Mastering helps to even out levels between tracks, adjusts overall equalization in the music, and in general provides the sheen of a professional recording. LBS provides musical mastering services utilizing the latest digital technology to ensure that your music is compatible with other commercially produced music product. Generally, mastering takes 2.5 times the running length of your musical material. Good graphic design helps your musical product stand out among all the other products on the market. It is a graphic statement of the purpose of your music. LBS uses the latest graphics software and computer equipment to provide film ready output.
